Due to the encroachment of bow-hunting season (in a county park yet!), the MB Geocache will be temporarily suspended. A deer stand was erected not twenty feet away from the cache. We don't want anybody getting an arrow in the head while looking for local music. So we'll find another spot for it, do some other promotion, or resume in the spring. The cache attracted about two-dozen visitors over the summer, about a fourth taking some local music with them. Thanks for playing - Mitch
Multiple award-winning songwriter and performer Liz Larin has pre-released signed copies of her latest CD, "Wake Up, Start Dreaming" to fans on her current e-mail list (unsigned copies available on her website). The New Way Bar in Ferndale is under new booking management. The Danny Tyrell Trio featuring "Champagne" are headlining Thursday October 27, 2005.
The Danny Tyrell Trio is composed of veteran professionals playing jazz, classic rock, blues, and R&B. Metro Detroit lead guitarist/vocalist Michael Galvan recently reunited with legendary area keyboardist Tyrell who recently returned from South America. The group originally appeared from the mid 60s to early 70s.
