The band has changed 3 members ; Silent aggression has a new guitarist, a new drummer, and the old drummer now is playing bass. The new band has worked real hard to get the material down, and is stronger than ever. There is a show scheduled for January 14 at the Trolley Stop in Taylor. This is going to be the first show with the new lineup. We are expecting a great turnout.

 Merry Christmas Michigan Bands
First of all Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to All.

I have to pass along a little holiday cheer, appropriately in the form of Michigan Indie Christmas Music.

Earlier this week I was in a little market in Brighton and noticed they were selling some local bands CDs. One was titled "Holy Knight" by a guy simply called Arlen.† It was going for six bucks with the proceeds being donated to Toys For Tots. That was enough for me and I wanted to add some local Christmas music to my collection so I picked it up without really looking it over.

When I got home I put the CD in my computer and was absolutely blown away. I quickly opened it up to see who this guy was, and he was the former lead singer of Salem Witchcraft, Arlen Viecelli.† I hadn't made the connection. We had run an article some time back when Arlen was singing lead for the reformation of Frigid Pink.

Listen to "What Child Is This?" from the CD.

 McCotter Rocks For The Troops
Forget giving up-armored Humvees, shorter tours of duty, or a much-needed raise in pay and benefits as a Christmas bonus for the troops and their poverty-stricken families. My illustrious congressman knows just what the troops need to help them fight the War On Terror - a congressional rock band!
Rep. Thaddeus McCotter (R - 11th district) will reportedly be playing lead guitar in a band known as "The Second Amendments" and plans to entertain our troops overseas with four other congressmen in the coming months, according to a story in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

 End of the Year Bash!
sonicdisturbance writes Sonic Disturbance will be performing live with The Impaler and Push Button Fun on Thursday, December 29th at The Double "O" pub in Redford. Hear uplifting, organic synth-sounds performed live over straight-ahead dance, break-beat, indie-trance-industrial music. But that's not all. Add Goth, Techno, House, D & B, Ambient & Experimental Noize and you've got a night where virtually anything can happen and probably will. Don't miss this show. Click "read more" for details.

CyberTrybe is back at it again!
tabooda writes CyberTrybe is back together after 5 years of being apart. Back in November of 2001 CyberTrybe played their last show together at the Emerald Theater and then went their separate ways. Sean Mooer (Front man, guitarist) and Sid Hodge (Drummer) were both activated and were sent over seas for Operation Enduring Freedom. Bryant Bedwell (Keyboardist and guitarist) carried the CT name for a while as a solo project and also played with N2 Submission and The Impaler. Paul Biondi (bassist) was also called over seas.
