| Abandon Announces Release of "Abandon" CD |
|
Hey Everyone,
Here we go!! It's finally finished and ready to go. After 4 long months of recording/mixing and all the CRAP that comes along with a band being couped up like that...The album is finally finished. All I can say about it is that the five of us are VERY proud of it and we feel that you all will really be suprised as well. We spent a VERY long time working and working and working on all the music as well as the artwork and we couldn't be happier with the product we have. All that time in our new studio, Broken Soul, has really put everything in perspective for us and we really put our hearts in this album.
Here's the deal: February 18th at The Token Lounge we will be releasing the cd. Click "read more" below.

| Attempted fraud slowing approval of new DMA voters |
|
Detroit -The Executive Board of the Motor City Music Foundation has posted the following notice on its website:
"The MCMF is experiencing an alarming pattern of potentially fraudulent voter applications, using false identities and email addresses. To ensure the continued integrity of the DMA voting process, it has become necessary for the organization to be extraordinarily meticulous in ascertaining the credentials of new voters. 'The screening panel recently interviewed a 100 year old gentleman who had been represented as the drummer in a thrash metal band', reports MCMF President Howard Hertz. 'While we see the humor in that particular scenario, we do take the fraudulent applications very seriously.'"
