The Surrogate Band - Michigan's Pink Floyd tribute is seeking a bassist with technique in the style of Roger Waters.
The Motor Music Festival was created by a group of race car, music and technology enthusiasts to celebrate their respective passions - cars and music! Come out to Waterford Hills on Saturday, May 27th 2006 to celebrate with us and help support science education in our schools. This year we've teamed up with the Skip Barber Racing School to teach 20 people how to drive racing cars. Music starts at 11:00am. Artists include Straight Up, Big Babies and Jackie Blue. West Michigan rockers "Fatty Haze" will be performing Saturday June 10th near Evart, Michigan for the Evart Chapter of the JOKERS Motorcycle Club. 
Acetylene, a local rock/metal band out of Stockbridge, MI is hosting Motts Rock on June 17, 2006. The event will take place during the annual Day In The Village festival in Stockbridge, MI.

Stone Alley Records released Most Wanted's third CD "Welcome 2am" in February 2006. The band has been touring the usual haunts and have returned from a collective promotional tour including Florida, to play a Friday & Saturday set of shows locally at Whitmore Lanes May 19th & 20th. The crowd is loud, the beer is cold, the help is great and the stage will be rocking with Most Wanted. The release includes 12 solid tracks fueled with sin and redemption charged timeless dynamic songs with plenty of loud guitars and low end drive. FLEDfive celebrated the release of their new self-titled CD April 21 with a show at the Orbit Room in Grand Rapids. Over 600 fans came to see them, along with openers Pop Evil, Creepermode, and Superman Package.
Footage from the show is to be used in a video for the band's current single, "Can't Figure Out" and a future DVD release is in the works as well. You can hear samples at the Fledfive website and at Myspace.com.
