Meet An Unreasonable Man: Ralph Nader @ DIA
It has nothing to do with local music and everything to do with political sanity (in my opinion), but I though some of you might like to know that Ralph Nader will be appearing at the Detroit Insitute of Arts film theatre for the Detroit premier of the IFC documentary, An Unreasonable Man at 7:30 pm on Thursday, April 19th. Mr. Nader will lead a discussion and field questions following the showing. The Nader organizers are also looking for help in promoting the event. Click "read more" below for info and links to the trailer and website.

FACE Reunion @ the Magic Bag w/ Blasternaut and FlopHouse
FACE will be playing a one-night-only reunion show with Blasternaut and Flophouse on Friday, April 20th at The Magic Bag. With that line-up, this is one show you won't want to miss. As you may or may not recall, FACE took a leave of absense some five years ago (good god, has it been that long?) to pursue other avenues and interests. If you need a refresher, check out our interview from 2002 "About Face". You may have seen guitarist Mike Smith roaming around town since then with Dr Hi-Fi, Barstar, and/or, of course, The Howling Diablos. If you want to hear what else he's been up to, click read more below.
