 MB Welcomes The Delusional Rapper

The Delusional RapperSt. Clair Shores, MI -'The Delusional Rapper is here!!! After years of rocking underground both as a solo hip-hop artist and with the hard-core hip-hop band “The HorrorScope” www.ourstage.com/thehorrorscope  Now comes The Delusional Rapper!!! Sitting on years of knowledge The Delusional Rapper is “Making music I can die proud of!!!” As a solo rap artist he spent time in the studio with the grammy award winning producers “Mark & Jeff Bass” where he learned a ton of production skills. Then not happy with just being in a rap group he set off to co create The HorrorScope with his brother. The band used live samplers and drum machines with live guitars and bass to create a new sound…Now The Delusional Rapper is set to take on the world with his underground Hip-Hop… Unsigned The Delusional Rapper Started his own “Label” Independent But Connected Records. So now that is the brand…'  MB welcomes The Delusional Rapper to our Original Artists/Hip Hop & Rap category.

I would only add, humility is a refreshing novelty in hip hop.   - Mitch

 MB Welcomes 7th Day Creeps

7th Day Creeps - She's So Goth'7th Day Creeps formed in October 2004 after an alcohol induced religous experience. The Creeps live by a three point mission statment...keep it loud, keep it catchy and make 'em come back for more! The group uses 1st wave punk rock, 80s metal and adds a splash of sleazy b-grade movie horror imagery to the mix. Their sound has been compared to Alice Cooper, Cheap Trick, Motorhead, The Ramones and The Clash. These guys have been gigging everywhere and anywhere over the last 2 years to promote their 1st self-released cd Does this taste Funny? and they've now partnered with Jib Machine Records to release their next offering Meat The Creeps in 2010.'

Check 'em out on iTunes:  www.michiganbands.com/bl-visitband-1648.html

MB Welcomes Yeddi In The Woods

One part feral, wandering, eye-glass-wearing, curly-loxed, band-joining Yooper.  One part coal-walking, kazoo-humming, Pixie-covering, waif.  Add beer, coffee, and/or tequila. Shake.  Electrify. Post. Distribute. Anything could happen.  MB Welcomes Yeddi In The Woods - even though we had to re-load their PureVolume page to get rid of the Charlize Theron movie promo -  to our Original Artists / Experimental category. Four tunes. It's all over the place, really.  Click "read more" below for their description or check 'em out at Pure Volume at the link above. Say "hi" to Charlize for us.

Play Michigan's Historic Theaters, Meet Michigan's Movie Industry
chcnetwork writes

Jaxon Film Fest 2011Before the 1930s and the advent of what has come to be called the "talkies", opulently decorated vaudeville and movie theaters were built. Predating the earliest sound systems they were created to be acoustically perfect. Every small town had one. Michigan at one time had many from its south western most border to Detroit and points north. Today many of these theaters still stand, painstakingly restored and faithfully tended. Now as a musician you can play many of these theaters and stand where the earliest stars of stage and screen stood.

The promoters of south central Michigan's newest film and music festival are looking for select  Michigan bands and spoken word performers to play these venues. Those chosen will have the opportunity to play at the first ever Jaxon Film and Music Fest.
