Hey, I've updated the HOT GEAR section (under the Main Menu in the upper left of your screen) which features a few products from the Musician's Friend online catalog. So even if you're flat broke and have no plans to purchase gear online, you might still find it an amusing read. Happy window shopping! - Mitch

Stricken with performance anxiety and writer's block, Editor Mitch Phillips decides to rediscover music on his own terms - again. In two short stories, "The Special Bubble" and "Panic and The Performance" he finds more than one excuse to pick up his instruments again.

PostMortimer writes
Here’s some health news you might find surprising: despite a recent resurgence in use among Americans, a recreational drug known as heroin has been found to be harmful, according to researchers at the Noe-Schitt Institute of the Obvious (NSIO). 12 Mile Open Mic happens every Tuesday at AMICI'S LIVING ROOM in Berkley, Michigan. It's a unique place for musicians to showcase their abilities. It's also located right next to Amici's Pizza and is a dining area during the day time. The atmosphere is dim lit, and cozy with stools, a bar, chairs, tables, and a fire place. It's the perfect place to relax and enjoy an evening out with friends or a significant other. You never know who you might meet at AMICI'S LIVING ROOM. People visit here from all over the world. Come on out and grab a seat, a drink, and meet some great people. Hope to see you soon. Click "Read More" for directions, phone #, etc...
