 Venue Review: The Magic Bag
WWghost writes Due to the demand for more user submissions by Mitch, here is my first contribution. Taking a break from prose and poetry to review a popular local venue for live music. The first target for my opinionated tangent is Ferndale's finest music venue, The Magic Bag. After experiencing several shows at this choice establishment, I am offering my humble opinion to you all, with which you are free to agree or disagree. Click "Read More" for wwghosts review.

Happy Horrordays From Blue Tail Fly
swipesy writes Swipesy speaks on behalf of Christmas and Lone Star Beer:

The holidays are a great time for reflecting on all those good times we've had in the past; the real ,imagined, chemically-induced or what have you. This year's annual Blue Tail Fly Christmas Tune harkens back to a mind blowing Christmas Eve ( or was it New Years? Easter maybe? Hell, I think it was some holiday )...

 Kilkenny @ The Hayloft 11/30/02
Sold on the quality of Kilkenny's gem, "Marvin", Mitch drags Napoleon K and his brother Ruo out to Mt. Clemens to check out the alt/rock duet's live show and to escape nicotine withdrawl by breathing bar-air. Mitch writes, 'Surprisingly, the urge for a Marlboro didn't increase. There are benefits to second-hand smoke, after all. Who knew?' Click "Read More" for his review.

 Year end wrap up
The 2003 server fee has now been paid thanks to the generosity of Riverside Drive & The Kingsnakes and all of those who attended the fund-raiser at The New Way Bar on December 6. In addition to the server fee, a few donations and paid advertisements have helped us amass a small cache of petty cash. This means the website can exist online, as is, for a whole year. It does not, however, mean it will improve suddenly without your participation. . .
