 Tripper Hires Bassist Robert Carr
Tripper-F writes July 7th 2003

FERNDALE, Mich. - Tripper announced today that the band has hired Robert Carr to fill its vacant bassist position.

Carr, from Centerline, Mich., joins the band after 11 years performing with Most Wanted - a prominent Mid-Western country band.

"It's been a while since Most Wanted split up, and I was looking for something totally different that was moving up in the industry. To find a band like Tripper was quite a surprise," Carr said. "I'm looking forward to some big things with this band."

Sleight Of Mynd - Self Titled EP
Review by Wayne Westcott,
In a time and age where new metal bands come a dime a dozen its almost impossible to release anything fresh and new. Yet one Michigan-based band plans to ultimately defy the stereotype of new metal bands, that band is non other then Sleight Of Mynd. A two-piece started in Mt. Pleasant Michigan that eventually evolved into the present five piece. Sleight Of Mynd is not your typical average find when looking at all the current metal bands of the Michigan scene. Their musical styles vary from hip-hop beats and rhymes to melodic guitars and singing.
