 Save The Vegetables IV
"Cruelty to animals for the purposes of food is an ongoing topic of discussion, but what about cruelty to beets and garbonzos? Some folks shudder to think about the plant mayhem going on under our own noses and forks.

Finally a voice speaks up, `Though it may be wrong to kill animals for our own selfish purposes, a far greater crime is the senseless destruction of harmless vegetables and fruits! At the least, animals are gifted with the power of movement. Plants have no means of escape.'"  Source: ( http://humor.about.com )

Witness the destruction of Kalamazoo and more!
ibmonkey writes
Some say it was because they were that damn good. Others say it was fate. But, according to ibmonkey, the reason that Immigrant Blue is steadily gigging is "Well, we made some silly promises that big boys have to keep, so..." So strap in, and get ready for the next wave of IB entertainment!

Starting off on Saturday, August 23rd, Immigrant Blue will invade the East side for Moosapalooza, an all-day music event hosted by motorcitymusic.net at the infamous Moose MacGregor's, in Brownstown. When interviewed, guitarist Chris Frankhauser said "Whoa, we're playing in Detroit again? Cool!"

Mulch welcomes second guitar player; Finally!!!
Florida native Cristian Rudes has joined Redford based death metal band Mulch as a second guitar player. Cristian is best known for his Role as lead singer guitarist for Florida Band "Solstice".

Mulch formed in Nov 2000, when the core members of the now defunct Endorfiend, Jon Halcomb - Guitars, Mike Reseigh - drums/vocals, and Ron Hill  - Bass, wanted to pursue a "heaver sound".  Reseigh provided vocals for the power trio for several years until Brian Forgue joined them as a permanent front man in January of 2003.   Soon after bassist Ron Hill left the band to “respectfully retire from the music scene”. Kevin Carron replaced Hill on bass to fill out the rhythm section.

Mulch is currently rehearsing new material for a fall release and playing in and around the Detroit area.

For more info and music samples visit the Offical Mulch website.

How to stream mp3 from your site.
Ever wonder why mp3s don't stream from your web site? I've noticed that many mp3 song samples on indie band sites have to be downloaded completely before they will play. MP3 can be streamed from any site if you know how to do it. The following article will detail how to set up a streaming meta file, generate play lists and a whole lot more. With just a little planning, your site will stream mp3s and your fans won't have to go through a 5 meg download on a dial up connection again.
