 WDET-FM, Detroit's National Public Radio station has always been a strong supporter of local music. In an effort to return the favor and support, local musicians will perform at a four night showcase and fundraiser to benefit WDETs' Fall pledge drive.
The WDET Fall Fundraiser Showcases will start on Wednesday thru Saturday at the local music venue, 313.jac - upstairs from Jacoby's. Featured will be bands and solo performers that reflect the various eclectic styles of music often heard on the station unique shows.

This is my opinion.........The old school Led Zep-Black Sabbath feeling mixed with Shellac hitting bass and the freshness of braniac. I'm not comparing, thats just the feeling I get, I get Excited that IFM is detroit born.
Detroit has yet another hard-ass band to make it proud along the lines of the Laughinghyenas, Mule, Big Chief, Wig, Philo Beddow and all the others.
