Lutz to Produce Radiocraft / Name The New Release
RADIOCRAFT is back in the studio recording for our next album with producer/ songwriter and recording engineer extraordinaire Michael Lutz (Brownsville Statioin, Ted Nugent). We are working on the first block of four songs and I think it's safe to say "these songs go to 11". They are significantly more intense than what you've heard on the first album. Slated for release sometime in '04, this collection of songs is yet nameless. Perhaps you can help us on this. Think of a cool name for our new album and we?ll give you? like some free copies or something, ay? How ?bout a free shirt or two? Some new stickers? Cool. Click "Read More" below for upcoming gigs.

Music Review: The Hopescope ''Bring In The Sun''
Tortured by the role strain created by his neurotic need to please people and his ethical duty to give an honest opinion, Mitch Phillips' personality splits right down the middle in a temporary manifestation of review-induced schizophrenia. The Hopescope's "Bring In The Sun: A Five Year Journal" chronicles five years in the life of songwriter Eric Empson and his long journey from west-coast wanna-be to a self-realized soul. From unrequited love to the bottom of a bottle, Empson's musical diary is full of hard knocks. But where he eventually finds grace in The Divine, Mitch's altar ego only finds solace in the soothing sound of the waves.

Detroit Film Theatre to premier MC5 film
Detroit - On Thursday October 30th at 7:30 pm, the Detroit Film Theatre will host the premiere of MC5 * A True Testimonial, the new documentary film on the legendary Detroit group that became the house band of the Grande Ballroom during the late 1960s.

The MC5 fused the liberating spirit of music with the politics of rebellion, and delivered the soundtrack to a generation bent on change. MC5 * A True Testimonial celebrates the timeless story of five working-class friends who came together with a singular vision: to change their world through rock and roll.

 Charlie Naebeck For Hire
superpenguin79 writes Hey Everyone - I've recently signed up with Michiganbands.com to expand my opportunities for musical creation. I've been in and out of bands and projects for the past 10 years and have recently started dabbling in movie production, commercial scores, and sampling for bands as well. I now work for a studio in Ann Arbor by the name of Desert Rain Studios so if anyone is interested in low cost, quality samples for their music, or if your band is looking to record a demo or full album, please feel free to contact me at: charlie@charlienaebeck.com and I would be happy to help you with your musical needs.
