Seven Mile Sun to part ways...
sevenmilesun writes Clinton Twp., MI - As of December 16th 2003, Logan and Brian of Seven Mile Sun have decided to part ways. They would like to thank everyone for their support, and the friendships they have made over the years. CD's will still be available at www.sevenmilesun.com for a discounted price of only $5.00. Logan will continue Seven Mile Sun as a solo project, so keep your eyes and ears open for new material and a ton of acoustic performances in the near future. Brian will pursue other undetermined interests as well. Keep checking the website for the latest news on both fronts. Once again, thanks for the support...

 Music Review: Eyeshow's debut ''Openings''
Every so often a disc comes along that makes such a profound impression that I feel compelled to push the others aside to give you a timely alert. "Openings" by Eyeshow is just such a disc. Since they will be headlining (correction - opening) The Bullfrog's New Year's Eve Party, I thought you should hear about it now (if you haven't already) so you can a copy and get fully charged before the show. Let me be very clear before I get on with the gushing: BUY THIS DISC.

MB Y23 Christmas Party / Toys for Tots @ The Bullfrog
It started out as a fundraiser, morphed into a charity event and just turned out to be a hell of a party put on by Brad Raymond at The Bullfrog in Redford. Five bands, no cover (with toy donation), free food, free CD's and a ga-ga calendar-girl wait-staff made for a great night of local indie rock. Click "Read More" for some of the details.

Dear Santa, This is Jimmy from the band...
Dear Santa,
This is Jimmy from all the way out in Highland, MI. I don't usually send letters to adults I don't know (if my dad knew I was writing letters to some old dude who's into kids he'd probably bust my arm again), but I hear your the go-to guy for X-Mas presents so I figured I'd risk it. I call it X-Mas (hope U don't mind) because I like porn a whole lot better than I like church and I'm guessing you do too because of the way you dress and all. By the way, you don't want to show up at church around here dressed in a red velvet suit. You'd totally get your ass kicked. But anyway. . .Parental Discretion Is Advised before clicking "Read More" below: adult content and language
