MB Welcomes The Boom Box Wizards

Corey Storm of the Boom Box WizardsThe first thing I noticed about The Boom Box Wizards is that lead guitarist Corey Storm looks like Joey Ramone (click on pic left) - which is enough to intrigue me and my Ramones-fanatic friend, DD Kupczak. Unfortunately, I don't see any Ramones covers on their classic-rock set list, but that doesn't mean they don't do any. This four-piece cover band out of Trenton, Mi claims the "and many more" addendum on their MySpace page so we can only hope.

The Boom Box Wizards are the latest band-link in the Cover Bands / Rock Variety category.  Welcome.  Oh, you can see a partial set list by clicking "read more" below. - Mitch

MB Welcomes Duct Tape From The Seventies

The great thing about Duct Tape From The Seventies is that, once you strip the first layer off, you can use it to fix your rearview mirror, make a splint for your cat's broken tail, seal your stash in your faux leather couch, make a wallet for your pizza coupons, silence that noisy hostage or even tape a couple of forties to your melon (straw not included). But that's not all! Another great thing about Duct Tape From The Seventies is that it's the name of the latest addition to our Original Artists/Alternative category.

Check 'em out.
