| Radio Free Michigan No Longer Broadcasting |

It would appear that Radio Free Michigan is no longer broadcasting. I've checked the site several times over the past couple of weeks and the stream is unavailable. I've received no response from an email sent to them through the contact form on their website which is still active, but the playlist on their site has not been updated.
Hopefully this is only a temporary interruption in service. The station focused exclusively on Michigan Indie music and was a great promotional tool for independent artists from this state
The owners of Radio Free Michigan have not posted any information regarding the interruption of broadcast on their website so any speculation as to the cause would be just that; speculation. We can only hope that they can resume broadcast in the near future.
Michigan Bands ran an article on Radio Free Michigan back in January giving kudos to the new Internet radio station. We will keep you posted if we hear anything.

The comments module for the video section has been repaired. All hail the Webmaster! All hail the Webmaster! Soon, a tutorial will arrive to explain how to submit your own videos in various formats - if you haven't figured it out yet or if you even care. You do still care right? Riiiight.

wiki writes  So we finally opened our doors late last night to our brand new website for Michigan musicians/bands & fans of local music. I have decided to use xoops to power MM this time as it is my favorite open source cms out there. It has given me the possibility to add some new modules to the site that we have lacked in the past such as an image gallery were our members can upload photos, an inline forum to replace our former remotely hosted proboards forum, a callsifieds module, a module for members to submit and watch YouTube videos of local bands, blogs, reviews, an events module for submitting shows, an online store for artists/bands to sell their music on our site, and best of all a module that allows artists/bands to create a band page.

 The DetroitMusic.com message board has been back online since March 3rd, 2006. The site was taken down a couple years ago due to the bad behavior of some of its more unruly members. DMDC was originally created to offer the local music community a convenient place to network, but instead became a magnet for internet trolls and flamers whose offensive and sometimes threatening posts made moderating the chaos more trouble than it was worth.
