This has nothing to do with that at all... That in itself is another issue I will choose to pass on... But I will say this... I at no time ever asked to be featured in their magazine, but did request to have a line about the Push cd release and was refused... Having said that, I have been a supporter of The Rag for many years both with money and often defending them in the local scene when people would say stupid shit about them with nothing to back it up... I also have helped with many of their recent requests for endorsements sent to me via email and as I began to really read (not read into) what they we're doing and saying I chose to rethink and remember what I felt some years ago about The Rag and how I hate these magazines who hide under one thing to feed us a bunch of shit that only they care about... Music is music, not sex or politics... Who fuckin' cares... The problem The Rag has is it can't get past itself and the only reason it never prospered is because of it's owners... So I for one am glad to see it go so someone else who loves music for music can come in and do it right... Keep the other shit where it belongs, in the trash... Mitch, you'd like everything to be cut and dry and it's not... Your still too young to know the differance... You'd like it to be about me and how I'm somehow hurt by not being in The Rag... Well The Rag has never been an asset to me or my career, so no I'm not heartbroke... But I am in Guitar World Magazine and Modern Drummer at the same time World Wide... Not in The Rag at the bottom of the Cat Litter Box... And I'm still a MAN...
