Re: Catalog Only Moves One Step Closer to Germany (Score: 1) by thundermoon on Monday, January 24, 2005 @ 20:43:12 EST (User Info | Send a Message) | | KGB, I can see how Paisley could draw that conclusion. It's pretty common that when a band stresses their live performance it takes away from the importance of the studio. I think in Catalog Only's case that's not entirely true. Their last EP was good for what they were able to put into it, but ultimately they ran out of time and money. To a trained ear, it is apparent. Don't get me wrong I stand behind the Solution EP with true conviction, but I am excited for what is to come. The next time they go into the studio, which is in the real near future, they will use the knowledge they have gained and they have a better understanding of how to manage their time and money. They are confident that with the right peole behind the boards, they will be able to capture the energy of their live performance and have all the ear candy of the studio. Don't worry, they will continue to keep the live performance different and entertaining because that is what makes it fun for them. |
