Apparently you have a problem with bands paying 70 bucks to get involved with Emergenza, meatwad, as I've also noticed you made a very similar comment in response to Ground Score's announcement. You obviously have never hosted an event of this magnitude if you think it is outrageous to shell out a mere $70. Do you think that the folks at Emergenza don't have any costs to cover? For instance, I'm certain that the staff members that will be present at each of the 17 cities in the U.S. are not there for free. And how about the advertising? Do you think that running numerous radio spots on a Top 10 station in a Top 10 market in the U.S. is cheap? I'm sure that since Paisley is in the advertising business, he can assure you that it is indeed anything but cheap. Far more than you pay for your personal ads in the Metro Times. Just a few more things for you, meathead: 1) each band that performs at Emergenza receives instrumental supplies more than equal to the entry fee; 2) if a band sells their tickets, they will be paid (probably more than you make in a week); and 3) if you want to call performing in front of record companies, communication executives, promoters, recruiters, and large crowds against thousands of bands in an international competition a "Battle of the Bands," so be it.
