Any comments and criticisms are welcomed and taken to heart. The Catalog Only team feels there is much to learn from other musicians and industry people as long as they keep an open mind and make valid points. You have already tipped your hand by saying "Yea, when a band makes a claim like "the best" or misleading statements. I lean not to like them". In regards to "It's good to be humble until you hit mainstreem, because it's mere opinion". You simply don't know these people because if you did, you would know this is a very humble band and their music reflects that. No matter if you're mainstream or not, it's still just an opinion. Who's opinion are you talking about? The industry's or the band's? It is good and necessary for a band to form an opinion of themselves so they know how to carry and promote themselves. If a band doesn't understand who and what they are, how are they to make anyone else aware of who and what they are? |
