Topic: Press Release

Local garage-rock-hiphop trio, the Cobalt Party Revolution, recently signed a three album recording contract with Medea Records. CPR (as the fans call them), have been playing throughout Michigan and Canada for the past four years. Their always-entertaining live performances have been stirring up quite a buzz this past year and the labels have finally caught on. The band plans to spend the next several months recording their new album using various studios while still playing live shows in-between. As you may know the troy-based recording company...

Medea Records, are the label responsible for getting the nu-metal act, Factory 81, their major label contract with Universal Records. Currently, the label's roster include local heavyweights Auto Pilot, I-Defy, Seven Mile Sun, and the band that is next in line to be the next big thing out of the mitten-state, Arizing. With majors already hungry for their unique brand of aggro- rock it won't be long.

MB Note:  These guys are a blast to see live and the music is just plainfun!  Congrats on the deal.
