The Kingsnakes CD release party for their debut CD “Supernatural Disaster” will be held on Friday, April 9 at The Magic Stick, 4140 Woodward Ave, in Detroit. Opening acts for the band will be The Muggs and Long Black Sedan.The CD was recorded at Thrilla Park recording studios in Clawson by engineer Alex Trajano. Kenny Olson, guitarist for Kid Rock, was the producer on the 9-song album. Click "Read More" below for details.
While the recording was released too late to be considered for the 2004 Detroit Music Awards, the band has been nominated in three categories: 1. Best Rock Band 2. Best Live Performance 3. Best Vocalist – Tom Mann.
The Kingsnakes most recent show in the area was to a packed house at The New Dodge as part of the 2004 Hamtramck Blowout. The band plans to do extensive touring this summer to support their debut CD.
