February 1, 2004 - Ann Arbor, MI - Did you know that today marks the 3 year anniversary of Ann Arbor, Michigan's very own Almost Famous (www.almostfamous.net)? Time flies when you're having fun. On this day three years ago, members Ben D., Dave Yu, and Charlie Naebeck played together for the first time and the concept of Almost Famous was born.

Since then its been "guitar-in-hand" opening for bands like Teddy Richards (Aretha Franklins son), 60 Second Crush, Harms Way, NS Stick player Gary Jibilian, joining the national I-squad family, founding Ntertainment Group, and playing countless other live performances and appearances.

Currently the band is on their 2nd full length CD, but this would theoretically be their third if you include the BYBBQ session that went out on a short run of a thousand copies initially.

Releases to date:

BYBBQ Demo: Includes Napster, Planets, and 440 Htz (rare)

The Upstairs Chronicles: Includes First Day, Placebo, Planets, Bubbles, Pins & Needles, 440 Htz (rare), Sheridan (rare), and Napster

(project un-named): Almost Famous is currently in the studio working on their 2nd full length album. stay tuned to be released in late 2004/early 2005
