Royal Oak, MI – Detroit Pop/rock artist Teddy Richards celebrates an upcoming European Tour and the launch of his new web site with an acoustic performance at Good Night Gracie’s on Tuesday, October 28, 2003. Richards will also be screening “Singing in The Shadows,” a documentary which recently aired on Bravo that spotlights the lives, careers and music of young musicians who’s parents are the music legends of the 60’s and 70’s and beyond. “This show is a celebration of a year’s hard work and I am quite pleased how things have blossomed and come into fruition. This is a very exciting send off for me to Europe, but I won’t forget my fans in Detroit,” says Richards.
Teddy Richards is no stranger to film and television. He has been profiled on CBS’ “The Early Show” and spotlighted on The Food Network’s “Food Nation.” Additionally, Richards was a guest on MSNBC’s “The Mitch Albom Show.” Teddy Richards’ music has also been featured in episodes of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and “Dawson’s Creek.” He has performed on “Late Night with David Lettermen” and VH1 “Diva’s” with his mother “The Queen of Soul” Aretha Franklin and Kid Rock. A talented artist in his own right, Richards is currently finishing recording his second CD “Chelsea Sketches.”
