This is my opinion.........The old school Led Zep-Black Sabbath feeling mixed with Shellac hitting bass and the freshness of braniac. I'm not comparing, thats just the feeling I get, I get Excited that IFM is detroit born. Detroit has yet another hard-ass band to make it proud along the lines of the Laughinghyenas, Mule, Big Chief, Wig, Philo Beddow and all the others.

This album ROCKS! Tight grooves, powerful lyrics and the digs to keep it real! Making it a long smooth summer ride, Olds 442, style!!!!

If the titles don't give you a feeling of thier style right off the bat. The very first notes of every song will put the channel on and take the remote away from you with a punch in the gut.

Highlights???:

Negativity Got Me Down (picking a fight with yourself), track3, gives me chills, reason enough to buy this album.

At Night (a late drive), warm and familiar, saying sorry!

Tar in the Mouth (losing your history), a somber grove, gives me the feeling of sunday, when you know you screwed up saturday night.

This album defintely backs up their live show! Which is so worth whatever they're asking at the door.

Released on Down Peninsula Audio, the soul and passion behind the emerging new school of Detroit/Michigan. www.downpeninsula.com

If my review hasn't sold you Listen to IFV on Mp3.

Or got to the Inside Five Minutes Website.
