Topic: Press Release

The Odd Fellows, Viola Lodge #259 of Cadillac and Universyl Wrestling Enterprizes Electric Company Training Center have teamed up to raise money for the Odd Fellows Charities.

The Odd Fellows Charities consist of sending kids to Tall Oaks Youth Camp in Baldwin Michigan, a local food bank, helping orphans and many other worthwhile causes.

On Saturday, August 30th at the Cadillac City Park we will be holding a free Rock’n’Wrestling show in the City Park in front of the pavilion on Lake Street. The day will start off at 2:00pm with the Rock’n’Wrestling show will begin with the first of three bands playing followed by the first half of the wrestling show. Intermission will feature the second band. A third band will finish off the evening after the second half of the wrestling show.

All of the wrestlers and bands have donated their time to help make this event a success.

Along with the above named events we are also bringing in a moon-walk and a dunk tank. The moon walk is for the little ones and the dunk tank will feature some of the professional wrestlers that we bring in.

As of today the confirmed wrestlers are Electric Eric Freedom, The Cocky Little Brats, Frankie The Face, Jimmy The Hype, and Jumpin' Jimmy Jacops. All of the above are very well known in the Midwest and some nation wide. More names will be added as soon as they are confirmed.

Nashville Recording Artist Brandi Nicole and the County Line Band have confirmed to be one of the three bands. We are still looking for at least one more.

The show is FREE for everyone. Concessions will be handled by the Odd Fellows Lodge that day.

For more information please call Mark McLeod at 231-884-2270.

A little added info. Eric Freedom is putting the wrestling show together. Eric is a 14 year veteran of wrestling and has been with WWF and WCW. He has been in the ring with the biggest names in wrestling such as Hulk Hogan, Sting, Goldberg, Rick Flair, Randy Savage, and King Kong Bundy. So expect the wrestling to be some of the best ever in Michigan.
