This is Crashing atoms' first release since forming in late 2001. The five song CD is self titled and contains such songs as "white trash girl", "Home", "mistreated", "choices", and my favorite "super pot smoker". I like these guys sound, it's gritty, raw, and untainted by todays rock radio. If your expecting to hear another Creed or Stained type sound out of these guys you'll be sadly mistaken. It's hard to classify their sound. It's got a classic rock edge, a punk persona, funky bass lines, and at some points on the CD, they can be quite melodic. The singer isn't the best singer in the world, but there is a genuine quality to his voice. when he sings you believe and feel what he's saying. the guitars are strong, and the songs have definite hooks.

Take Iggy pop, Zeplin, Danzig, Nivana and the doors, mix in a blender on high an you got Crashing Atoms.
