If you haven't yet checked out the Tangent website to hear a couple of their original songs, you would not be dissapointed. Tangent creates a musical journey that forces your soul to confront every instrument with songs like 'Family Tree' which begins with ...

. . . a screeching intro, followed by a melodic drum beat leading you to dive into a distorted guitar riff, backed by a jazzy bassline and catchy lyrics that support the bands originality. Another excellent creation is their song, 'Pseudo Contrition' which personally makes me feel as though I am driving well over 100mph on a Nascar race track. As soon as the song starts it is fast paced with high notes, pounding drums, a complimenting bassline, and chanting lyrics. This song ends abruptly leaving you to still feel the momentum of it's intensity to flow through your veins.

I urge you to keep updated on their latest gigs in the Detroit area--it's worth your time. Band Link: www.tangentdetroit.com
