I just thought of a new cool way to help us Michigan musicians and bands in finding a band member or band that could be the right one for us. What I did was create a simple database, almost like a guest book but with more specific questions pertaining to ones musical influences, talents, age, skill level, location, and availability. Imagine the time and money this could save us all. This way you will already know the most important information about the musician before you decide whether or not to contact them. Yes I think we all have played the email tag game before and found that after 4 or 5 emails, the person you were talking with just doesn't want to do what you want to do with a band or your music. That's because people don't always just come out and say what they really want. Probably because they are so desperate at this point that they would consider playing anything just to be in a band!. So I figured out a way to possibly save us all some time and a unnecessary headache, the "Michigan Musician's Data Base". So be sure and stop by, and add your profile to the data base because the more of us that are out there the easier it will be to find one another.
