Mt. Clemens 12/26/02 - Once again, Seduce kicked ass! Not as many people in attendance like the September Reunion show, but still a pretty good showing. The first act, 60 Second Crush rocked the house. I dug 'em. They got the crowd worked up pretty good. Wicked Wish was the 2nd act and didn't seem to catch the eye of the crowd. Everyone was there to see Seduce and at one point, the guitarist from WW was yelling into themic to get some crowd response. Click "Read More" for WIKI's full review.

Apparently they must be friends of the band to get on the bill with Seduce again. As someone in another message board stated, a band like Detroit's own Broadzilla could of attracted a bunch of more people for the show and would of gotten a better response. This is my own opinion obviously.

Seduce came on around 11:20 pm and kicked right into Vipers Bite. They played basically the same setlist as the September show with a couple additions. They sounded great. Chuck is bad ass on the drum kit. As my Bro noted, who's been drumming for 30 years "Chuck's gotten so much better than he was, more professional and technically better." I told him he's been playing guitar for the past 10 years too! Mark and David were right on as always. David is such an amazing guitarist. His whole style of playing kills. And Mark... I just kept telling my Bro song after song, "Watch Mark on this part"..He plays frigging chords all the time!... You have to wonder if they are going to do more shows. They still pull in a decent crowd.

Oh yeah, at one point, we were right behind the mixing board and let me tell you, the jackass doing sound for the show didn't seem to have a clue. My Bro was laughing the whole time as the guy "acted" like he was doing shit with the levels and knobs and sliders when he was actually doing nada. He actually did touch something that cut David's guitar off mid solo...I asked him for the setlist that he had and he says "I've worked with this guy (pointing at another dude behind the console) for 20 years and he won't let me!" We just looked at each other and said "WHAT??". Then 5 mins. later the guy gives it to someone else in front of me. Fuckstick.

It took til about the 4th song before David's guitar was sounding right in the mix.

Song list, in about the same order. I know I am missing some so chime in and add them to the list:

Vipers Bite
Love To Hate
I'm Strange
Streets
Slider
Chopping Block
Face To face
The Mirror
Crash Landing

Colleen
Ace of Spades

The owner of the Emerald Theater had permission to videotape the September Reunion show. They were selling it on VHS and DVD. I still haven't watched it yet so look for a review of all the features of the DVD (if any) later. They also sold the same Reunion Show T-shirts. I was told there were 70+ shirts left over from the Sept. show. I imagine they all sold last night. I asked and was told that the DVD and VHS might be available for sale at a certain record shop in Livonia. At first the dude said it was only available at last night's show. Then I mentioned to him the shop where the shirts were made available and he said yes...maybe. I'll check it out and if so, provide the phone # so people from out-of-state can call and get the friggin' DVD!!!!

I did see from a distance all the ladies from the band Broadzilla
with a large entourage around them, taking pictures. Rachelzilla was
up onstage dancing and shaking it with the 60 Second Crush
band...didn't want to lose my spot so hopefully next time I'll say
Hi to them all Face To Face...

Gonna go check out the DVD now...

Seduce kick ass...STILL!
