If there's one thing we all cling to in troubled times it's a Shred Of Hope, which is the name of our latest band-link submission to the Original artists / Hard Rock category.  The band hails from Dearborn, Mi, home of The Ford Motor Company - which is also clinging to a shred of hope after last quarter's reported $2.8 billion loss. And like FoMoCo's Wixom Plant, Shred Of Hope relates to As I Lay Dying and All That Remains.  But unlike the creators of the crappy power window system that completely failed in three of the four doors of my 2000 Focus sedan (assembled in Mexico, btw), the band claims quality music by Metallica, Black Sabbath, Pantera and Megadeth as major influences.  Shred of Hope currently has three songs available on MySpace.com and claims 1999 "friends" to date.  The MySpace page for FordMotorCompany only has "Tom" as a friend and  has reportedly grown old and moved to Huntington Beach, CA.  Don't believe me?  Check out all the appropriate links by clicking "read more" below.
