The Surrogate Band, Michigan’s Pink Floyd Tribute Band known throughout the Midwest United States as one of the premier tribute bands in the business and highly respected for bringing the most authentic recreations of all era’s of Pink Floyd’s music to its fans, today announced that it is changing its name to Echoes of Pink Floyd.The new name reflects the band’s objective and commitment to deliver the best recreations of Pink Floyd’s music to the masses.
After almost 5 years in the Pink Floyd tribute band industry, The Surrogate Band has decided to make the name change to Echoes of Pink Floyd to more effectively market the band.
In addition, the band has created a new web address www.pinkfloydtributeband.net.
Through the next few months, the band will unveil its new visual and internet identity.
During the transition period, fans, agents, venues, and interested parties will still be able to access the band website through www.thesurrogateband.com.
