According to their submitted link description, The Willeys play 'original music and obscure covers with a Celtic twist that has been descibed as "Folkwave" '- but you can find them here in our Original Artists/Acoustic Rock & Pop category. Formed around the nucleus of Rick & Andy Willey, the band has survived in one incarnation or another for 21 years! Their sometimes Irish alt/county vibe is burnished with enough fiddle, mandolin and bouzouki to inspire an occasional jig. But they're just as likely to break that stride with some easy going pop reminiscent of The Gin Blossoms, such as on the as yet unreleased gem "Collide" which you can find on their MySpace page.
