First of all Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to All.

I have to pass along a little holiday cheer, appropriately in the form of Michigan Indie Christmas Music.

Earlier this week I was in a little market in Brighton and noticed they were selling some local bands CDs. One was titled "Holy Knight" by a guy simply called Arlen.  It was going for six bucks with the proceeds being donated to Toys For Tots. That was enough for me and I wanted to add some local Christmas music to my collection so I picked it up without really looking it over.

When I got home I put the CD in my computer and was absolutely blown away. I quickly opened it up to see who this guy was, and he was the former lead singer of Salem Witchcraft, Arlen Viecelli.  I hadn't made the connection. We had run an article some time back when Arlen was singing lead for the reformation of Frigid Pink.

I would highly recommend picking up a few copies of this CD for late Christmas gifts. The production is excellent, the arrangements are cool, Arlen has an incredible vocal range and all of the proceeds go to a worth cause.
