Once again "Fatty Haze" have proven to be one of West Michigan's favorite rock variety bands. The Ludington natives have been hitting it hard this year playing over 70 shows in 2005 and has already scheduled 30 shows for 2006 with more shows being added weekly. Last Friday night the "Fatty Crew" struck again at Paisano's bar and grill in Three Rivers, Michigan. WOW, What a show! The band set the night into action with an obese (sic) version of Sweet's "Ballroom Blitz".
"Mike Pajonk has lungs of steel, " say's Fatty drummer Woody of their vocalist. "His voice is powerful, almost operatic."
With an eclectic combination of songs weaving in and out of genres, from Johhny Cash and Elvis to Pantera, even pulling out crowd favorites such as Poison's, "Talk dirty to me" and Steve Earl's "Copperhead Road".
How did they end the night? With Metallica's "Seek and Destroy" of course, followed by Disturbed's "Down With The Sickness". And yes, Mike's rant was amazing!
