The Michigan based band LEGEND just finished stamping their trademark, at country
music's new playground, CROSSROADS CONCERT CLUB in Riverview, MI. JohnnyLightnin' ripped thru the guitar solos, combining Country, Rock, & Blues riffs. Ed White pumped out the deep low down and joined the floor with the dancers. Animal blasted a solid meter topped off with the best solo we have heard in years. The band all sang a combined effort of Traditional Country, Modern Country, Rock, Blues, & Originals, and even the 6 birthday parties got up and joined in on a song. It was funfest had by all, and the Mechanical Bull was well used and oiled. To give you an idea about this club, National Country Recording Artists HOT APPLE PIE ("Hillbillies, do it in the Hay") JEFF BATES ("Circle of Love"), & TRACY BYRD ("Watermelon Crawl, Ten Rounds of Jose Cuervo") are a few of the names that are playing there. The club has a seating capacity of about 1000, a MECHANICAL BULL, a huge stage, light show, and dance floor. A kicka$$ DJLEE on band breaks. Of course, there is also plenty to drink...So please come out, check out the new place for country music in the Metro area. LEGEND will return in the month of November.
