We just received a music review of Jay Hussle's "Man of My Word", the Pontiac native's debut to be released later this fall. True, the review was submitted by his promotion people (then posted on his webpage as our review - a tactic we've seen before), but if you've ever submitted a CD to us, you know how hard it is to get your music reviewed in a timely manner (a'hem). So we think it's worth bringing this artist to your attention now, based soley on the three songs on Hussle's MySpace page. Sh*t's tight. I have been rapping since I was 13 years of age. My first professional recording was done at the age of 15. Since then I have been featured on numerous local projects and finished a complete 14 track underground LP.

On my own I took a solo trip to NYC in November of 2002. I've also been to Chicago for a music showcase in the summer of 2003. I've been performing in Michigan at numerous Local venues but I won't bore you with the show dates.

Since then, I've completed my up and coming release, Man Of My Word, due for release this fall. I am interested in hearing what has to be said about my music and ask for your support in trying to accomplish all my goals. I feel we all have the ability to conquer the world if we set are minds to it and have a strong supportive cast of warriors behind us...Our friends and family.

I would like to invite all of you to be my supporting cast and encourage you tell a friend to check it out. I want to know your opinions and what is goin on in your lives too. So holla at cha' boi!
