The first Annual Rootenanny is happening Saturday April 16, 2005 at the Ypsilanti Brewing Company, with featured performances by include the nationally touring, Ypsi-based band Rootstand,  plus Glowb, Stash, CityGoat, Joe Smith, Hullabaloo, The Rag Birds, Paul's Big Radio and more.

The first annual Rootenanny is a spring music festival celebrating Michigan's finest homegrown roots music and locally brewed beer. This is a great opportunity to catch the vibrant Ypsilanti roots music scene in action.

The show starts at high noon and runs all night with 20 acts playing back-to-back on two stages. Tickets are $10 at the door, and FREE for kids 10-and-under.

The Ypsilanti Brewing Company is on the north end of Frog Island Park, just east of Huron Street in historic Depot Town. Look for the big old mill/factory building... you can't miss it.
