MotorCityRock.com's founder John Patrick is pleased to announce that his band Illusion released their latest CD on Tuesday, April 12th. "Sleight of Hand" finds the progressive rock band's signature sound taking a decidedly darker and heavier direction.

Illusion will also be releasing "Silent Valor," a promotional sampler disc that features three tracks from the "Sleight of Hand" sessions, including a cover of "Hello Hooray!" (made popular by Alice Cooper), an unreleased instrumental, and "Empty" from the "Mysteries & Secrets Revealed!" CD. The disc will also include extensive multimedia content including "Caravan to Midnight," a 12-minute behind-the-scenes video on the making of "Sleight of Hand." The "Silent Valor" CD will be distributed free of charge, and will only be available at upcoming Illusion shows.

Illusion's upcoming performance schedule:
  • 5/6/05 - Paycheck's
  • 5/27/05 - Hayloft Liquor Stand
  • 6/3/05 - I-Rock Nightclub
  • 6/25/05 - New Way Bar
