The holidays are here and it is time once again for the second annual "Home for the
Holidaze"- Acoustic rock benefit.The event brings together local musicians and former Detroiters who are home for the holiday season. It is a chance to perform for friends and family and for a good cause. The proceeds from the event will go towards food donations to the St. Dominic's Soup Kitchen, located in downtown Detroit and not to forget our furry friends this winter, we will also accept pet food donations to be distributed to a local animal shelter.
This year the show is on THURSDAY, DEC. 30th at 8pm. The venue is 313.jac which is upstairs from Jacoby’s located at 624 Brush St. in Detroit. Please call 313-962-7067 for directions.
Performing acoustic rock music sets will be:
Chopper & Ross of Bullcock/Immortal Winos of Soul, who will be in town from NJ. The return of Ty Stone back to the city, from LA. Local acoustic rocker - Zuby, Joe Lisboa stepping out from his band Lisboa for the night, The Vox Pop, a new duo featuring musicians, Graham Strachan and Mike Kudreiko, the Michael David Project’s Michael David & Brian Lord, and the lone female voice for the evening, the talented Gretchen Wolff.
Admission is $6 or $1 off the cover charge with a can of food. Show starts at 8pm and 21 and over are invited.
