In a sad bit of news the webmaster and driving force behind www.MichiganMetal.com, Bob Colton's 4 month old daughter Sarah passed away Monday October 25th, 2004. Donations for Baby Sarah's funeral memorial fund can be made at http://www.skylarnicole.com/sarah/. Any donation, no matter how small would be greatly appreciated as the family is already financially strapped for cash and are struggling to pay for the high cost of the funeral and headstone.

There is also a Sarah Colton Memorial concert set to take place in the coming weeks with some of Michigan's heaviest bands joining together in Saginaw Michigan to show their support for Mr. Colton and his family. Bob Colton has been involved in the Michigan Metal scene for over 15 years now fronting bands such as Amputist, Apostle Of Perversion, Ungodly and Defcon 666,and also promoting and booking local Metal bands. Our condolences go out to Mr. Colton and his family and thank him for his work supporting the Michigan Metal scene.
