The metro Detroit band Trygemany featuring Jason Karman on guitar and neo-experimental bassist Rikki Roxx on bass are rumored to be gearing up for a late 2004/early 2005 regional tour."We have a new guy on the skins," said bassist Roxx. "Hes got great rhythm and will be a huge asset to this band."
Even bigger news is that the long awaited debut album from the band is nearing completion.
"Its basically down to the fine tuning and getting everything mixed right," continued Roxx. "Im hoping that the album is done by April or May of next year, followed by a large scale tour in support."
The band has been on a hiatus since late 2003 after Roxx left the group for awhile to persue a solo gig, but has since rejoined the band.
"I had a lot of material that I wanted to doddle with for a bit that wasnt really Trygemany material," said Roxx. "But it was always in my head to come back, I love this band and am really dedicated to making this thing work again."
