fish writes The Dally in the Alley is held annually on the first Saturday after Labor Day. The Dally in the Alley is one of the only non-corporate sponsored community festivals in the United States. ok, so now that you know when... where it's at:

The alley at Second and Forest in Detroit's Cass Corridor
Saturday, September 11, 2004, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
(Rain Date: Sunday, Sept. 12)
come on down and take a look, give a listen, and grab a bite!
