| Live Music At Hines Park In May |

vincenttwice writes  The Musicians Guild is proud to present to you our newest outdoor festival THE ACOUSTIC BARBEQUE
HINES PARK (Merriman Hollow Area) on SUNDAY, MAY 23
11AM - 6PM. The Acoustic Barbeque will feature great food, fun and LIVE MUSIC from bands and solo artists showing off their acoustic side. It's going to be a great family event for all ages... we have a huge playscape for the kids to play on and a baseball diamond as well. This area is huge and we will be providing frisbees and other fun things to do while you're there. Click "read more" below.
Live music will run from noon till 6pm and includes acts like Mike Vial, Maelstrom, AfterMidnight, SBU and more! This event will run rain or shine as we have a picnic shelter where the music will be, but let's hope for sunshine all day long!
There is no admission fee or cover and food is optional... we will be grilling up hot dogs and brats and pop and water will be available as well, and "donations" will be accepted.
Musicians Guild T-Shirts will be available while they last and any Guild bands that want to peddle their CD's are welcome to do so as well.
Don't miss this first-ever Guild event! Merriman Hollow in Hines Park is easy to find. Just take Merriman Rd. to Hines Drive (between Ann Arbor Trail and Warren). There's only one way to turn... West. Once you turn, Merriman Hollow is on your right! You can't miss it! If you are near to or have access to I-96, you can take it to the Merriman Exit and head South a few miles and you'll run right into it.
All proceeds from this event go to The Musicians Guild.
