Opening the night will be performances by two other fine acts, The Rioteers and Rainbow Quartz recording artists, Outrageous Cherry. It will be a fine evening of Rock and Roll for all who attend. The new CD will be available for the first time and for sale for $10 at the show.
JETTISON RED first hit the Detroit music scene in 2000 with their debut release “Clear as Day” also on Static. The CD received attention locally and nationally and received reviews like this one:
“Jettison Red lay down some great indie rock on Clear as Day, this is a wonderful debut from a very promising band. Anyone interested in poppy indie rock, give this a listen.”-All Music Guide.
The band was a favorite of seven national and regional music showcases and amassed a following in the Midwest thru constant touring. Jettison Red also became finalists in three high profile national music contests, “CMJ Opportunity Rocks”, 2003 Guitar Center National Band Search and the “Battle of the Bands” from Call Att. They were also nominated for “Best Pop Band” in the local Detroit Music Awards of 2003.
Fueled by a Red Bull endorsement, Jettison Red has no plans on slowing down in the coming year ahead. The release of “Travel by Telephone” will take them to the next level as their sound and songwriting has grown into a stellar rock band. The CD will be available at all local independent record retailers and thru the websites:
www.staticrecords.com and www.jettisonred.com.

They are a great band, lots of energy, and stage movement.......with great catchy songs. Not to mention one of the best drummers in this town.
Catch em if you can...........see you there !
