FERNDALE, Mich. – Modern rockers, Tripper return to the Chrysler Arts, Beats & Eats festival
(www.artsbeatseats.com) on Aug. 31 at 3:00 p.m. on the Miller Lite Stage. The show marks the fourth consecutive year that the band has performed at the festival.
Giving the band some added spark this year is the release of Buzzlighter, a compilation CD released by Shut-Eye Records of Atlanta, Ga., which features Tripper’s single “Clearly Mistaken” – the opening track of the band’s latest release Yesterday, Friday & Today.
“This is one of our favorite shows every year,” said Tripper guitarist and co-founding member, Steve Marvicsin. “There is
an excellent fan base, it’s a well-run show and we always have a great time, Arts, Beats & Eats has become a long-standing tradition in this area and we’re glad to be a part of it.”The show coincides with the release of the Buzzlighter Compilation CD from Shut-Eye Records (Atlanta, GA)
featuring Tripper’s “Clearly Mistaken” Single. The Buzzlighter compilation will be distributed to college and independent radio, as well as film and television production houses in an effort gain exposure for the bands involved.
