Reckless Entertainment proudly presents the 3rd annual Flint Rock Fest at Kearsley Park, Saturday, August 9, 2008
Flint, MI, July 22, 2008: If you love rock music then Flint Rock Fest 2008 is the place to be. With backing from the Flint City Council, Flint Rock will be a free event this year! Reckless Entertainment has brought together 13 of the area’s best rock/metal bands on one stage for one day, noon to 10pm. Featuring Publik Parking, Convergence Theory, Negitive Sleep, Skarrd, Lithium, Tension Head, Sour Jane, Fear Blind, Last Warning, Crop Circle, Pound Drive, Badd Motor Finger and BC Smith & the Willie Williams Infestation. Of course, there are 4 more bands later in the evening at the after party at Corunna Road Bar at 10pm, featuring: Amygdala, Wake of Destruction, Seven Minutes to Midnight and new up and coming national act Dendura. Also, Flint’s own Ozzy impersonator & author will the special guest MC for the whole event.
Happenings at Flint Rock Fest
The Flint Roller Derby Girls will be out, some of the best food in Flint and there will be a custom car, truck and bike show hosted by Flint Gear Grinders Car Club. The whole event is being filmed by local podcast DJ Sick Puppy Beau of www.sickpuppybeau.com.
