Terry Lee Bolton Announces New Release, Reviews CRS 39
shotgunbolton writes "

I'll be releasing a new CD titled You Can't Have It  on May 8th, 2008. It is the follow up to  "American Man" which is still available at Wal*Mart & WalMart.com. You Can't Have It includes 13 new songs and it is a slight departure from American Man. The record still holds strong to my  country & southern rock roots but is more guitar heavy and adds a dose of blues and Detroit Soul thrown in for good measure. Release date is set for May 27th on my label, MRC Records Nashville.

Click "read more" below for links and Terry's account of this year's Country Radio Seminar in Nashville and see his fan-pic with JEWEL.

TERRY LEE BOLTON ATTENDS THE COUNTRY RADIO SEMINAR

I recently attended The Country Radio Seminar (CRS 39) in Nashville Tennesse that took place from March 5th through the 7th.  It's an annual affair put on by Country Radio Broadcasters Inc., a non-profit organization that brings "Country radio together with the Country music industry for learning opportunities that promote growth." With Radio Personalities and Country Stars everywhere I felt pretty star struck and at the same time, right at home.  Country Music, Country Music People and The Country Music Industry are some of the friendliest, open and approachable people I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet.

I was able to mix and mingle with some of the biggest names in Country music as well as posing for photos with Pam Tillis, Johnny & Donnie VanZant, Deborah Allen, Tanya Tucker, Darryl Worley, Two Foot Fred, Bryan White, Sammy Kershaw, Aaron Tippen, Jewel, Charlie Daniels, LeAnn Rymes and many more. While at CRS I filmed a spot for the cable & satellite show “Music Row Profiles” that now airs to 9 Million People as well as taping a spot for ABC and cutting up with none other than Tanya Tucker on CMT!

The response from Radio to “American Man” has been great and has now officially been dubbed by radio personalities as “Country With An Attitude” and that's all right by me.  Here's a few samples:

Chuck Dauphin - New Music Weekly says…
Bolton offers different style to country music fans: People who attended the recent Country Radio Seminar might have wondered about the man who definitely set himself apart with his unique look. That person is none other than Michigan native Terry Lee Bolton, who is gaining attention with his latest album AMERICAN MAN.  A melting pot of various musical styles, Bolton walks to the beat of his own drum. I enjoyed getting to meet Terry and his much prettier wife at CRS, and agree that you’ll find his album is quite unique indeed!

Kelly Ann Monahan - Music News Nashville says…
If you’re looking for great music with a definite attitude, you can look no further than Terry Lee Bolton. A mixture of country, southern rock, blues, pop and Detroit soul, American Man is a small glimpse into a whole lot of talent. The music from American Man showcases the musical ability of Bolton as, essentially, a great musician and a one-man band. “I love country music. I love country music people. Speaking of country music, track #7 off the album called “I Don’t Want to Lose Ya Baby” is as hard-core country as it gets. Bolton shows he also knows how to write well-written contemporary country songs as well, like the albums first tune “Down The Highway.”
What is so appealing about Bolton – aside from his always cool shades – is that he doesn’t let himself get put in a box musically. He writes and sings what he feels, including touching songs like “I Believe In God.” He is not afraid to express who he really is, as are so many artists these days.

Tracy Stefans - WODU FM Country At Heart says…

“American Man is a must have CD for the music lover. This is where Country meets Rock.
A CD that will get you moving from start to finish. Terry Lee Bolton is an incredible talent."

Terry’s new CD “American Man” can be purchased at Wal*Mart, www.walmart.com, www.cdbaby.com,  iTunes.com, www.burnlounge.com, and Best Buy…
