 Detroit - Mud Coffee with Blender Magazine present Crud's New Year's Freak on Monday, December 31 at the Magic Stick.
This decadent New Year's Eve soiree features live music by acclaimed Detroit electro rockers Crud, plus special guests Cybertrybe (riveting industrial rock), plus the twisted puppetry of The Gepetto Files. Additionally, Karen Neal and Mike Hard of God Bullies fame will debut their new indie band They Never Sleep. Adding to the holiday mayhem will be barfly poet Jimmy Doom as Baby New Year, and “fancy schmancy” burlesque by Death in Heels. DJ Topkat will also be spinning between acts. With sampling, drink specials and giveaways by Mud Coffee and Blender Magazine, party goers are in for an exciting and memorable night of live music, performance and fun!

Headliners Crud's debut CD “Devil at the Wheel” (Full Effect Records) features fiendishly addictive tracks that have been the soundtrack of choice for numerous television shows including “CSI,” “ER,” "E! Emmy Awards Show,” and much more. Live Crud delivers an intoxicating and provocative rock show like none other. Fronted by Vinnie Dombroski (who the Austin Chronicle calls one of rocks most mesmerizing front-men) and burlesque beauty Danielle Arsenault Crud grinds out a visual and aural assault that leaves you begging for more. Band mates David Black (guitar), Dana Forrester (bass), and Eric Hoegemeyer (drums) set the stage ablaze with delicious gritty decadence.
