Lime_Regal writes Detroit rockers Lime Regal have announced the release date of their debut six-song EP entitled Making Me Wonder. The album will be released to the public during the group's performance at The Magic Bag in Ferndale, Michigan at 8pm on Friday, August 24, 2007.

Making Me Wonder was recorded and engineered by the band at Rustbelt Studios in Royal Oak, Michigan . Steve Stetson, Lime Regal's drummer, works at the studio part-time and was able to bring the group in during off hours to record.
"We had some great times recording in the middle of the night," Stetson said. "Engineering and producing the album ourselves was difficult but rewarding. Knowing that everything heard on this EP is a direct result of the hard work we put in is a great feeling."
Making Me Wonder offers a broad musical experience packed into a quick paced six-song EP, giving the listener a chance to experience loud driving rock and roll anthems like '100 MPH,' and soft jazz-inspired ballads like 'Four Leaf Clover.' 'Making Me Wonder,' the album's title-track centerpiece begins like an alt-rock electro-pop piece and quickly evolves into an explosively tight riff-driven rock song. Written about the group's hometown city of Detroit, it brings to light the positive aspects of the city and a desire to see it come back to life.
"My grandparents always would tell me about how beautiful the city used to be when they were growing up, and I want like so many others to see the city's vitality come back," lead singer Nathan Abramson said.
Expect the floodgates to open this August, as shows and radio interviews take place all over the mid-West in support of the Making Me Wonder EP. Fervent online promotion and a well-developed live show will help to spread the word about Lime Regal even more. Performances are currently scheduled for Detroit , Kalamazoo, Columbus, Toledo , and Chicago , while more are in the works for New York, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Indianapolis , and other cities all around the mid-West.
Lime Regal is Nathan Abramson (vocals), Ross Trinkaus (guitar), Brian Carney (bass), and Steve Stetson (drums); a group of four friends in their mid-twenties looking to bring back the sound and influence that some of the most famous classic rock and roll artists had back in the 60's, 70's, and 80's. Influenced by groups such as The Police, Led Zeppelin, The Who, The Beatles, and Yes, Lime Regal is working hard to play a major role in helping to bring about positive changes for the future of Detroit.
