| The Ghost That Walks Reverses Time, Bears Fruit |

 Inspired by the amount of time he was wasting on the internet, electronic underground musician Paul "Ghostwalker" Bishop has committed himself to a once-a-week composition series that is intended to last an entire year.
"After wasting so much time in the last two years,
not to mention the last ten. I decided to do something about it and pull my finger out of my arse. One track a week it is then," Bishop wrote in his DetroitCity.com blog.
He began his productivity turnaround simply by flipping his daily routine into reverse. Instead of working on music after looking at websites, articles, myspace, facebook, etc.. he made it the first thing he did in his day. The result is five compositions in five weeks so far, with 48 more to go (apparently including two weeks of well-earned vacation).

"This has worked in forcing what needs to be done most, back where it should be, " Bishop wrote. "Switching the time around has worked wonders."
The biggest challenge he says will be keeping the quality of his music up where they should be and working through those uninspired periods.
"It's working out so far. The first benchmark will be the three-month mark. If the standard stays at a good level, it could work well with some small labels," he wrote in a recent MySpace message.
So far, Bishop's penned five compositions in five weeks, including "Opening Up", "Escape From Miami", "Fuel To The Fire", "Gasoline Tears" and "Resident Evil" (available at his Myspace page). The process is increasingly challenging but continues to bear fruit.
"I should have written many more tracks over the years," Bishop wrote. "But writing one song a week will help redress that inbalance and sharpen my skills like a sniper's bullet."
The plan he says is to send some of the compositions to underground labels and the try to release the rest digitally or (he hopes) on 7" Vinyl mastered and pressed in Detroit as usual.

yeah, I spend way too much time on the net too, and I do the same thing some days to get other things acomplished that need to be done.
